The MTC is looking for GPs with an interest in Integrative Medicine to join our Medical Centre. We are a mixed billing practice with longstanding Doctors, loyal patients, nursing support and beautiful garden surrounds.

Dr Paulo Moraes receives NIIM Award

On the 6th of October, Dr Paulo Moraes and Dr Jenny Altermatt attended the annual conference at the National Institute of Integrative Medicine. 

It is with great pleasure that we announce that our esteemed and wise long term practice leader, Paulo received a surprise award.

This award was for his 'Outstanding contribution over many years in the field of Integrative Medicine’.

Dr Paulo thanked his dear friends and said “ I couldn’t have been awarded if the MTC wasn’t there i.e. for all of you practitioners and colleagues , staff, Committee and obviously for all patients that walked through our door over my  32 years working at the MTC. I am humbly grateful. “


World Health Organization publishes Benchmarks for Training in Anthroposophic Medicine.

As noted on the The International Federation of Anthroposophic Medical Associations IVAA website, the World Health Organization has published Traning Standards for Anthroposophic Medicine.

“Responding to the increasing popularity of Anthroposophic Medicine worldwide, the World Health Organization (WHO) has published benchmarks for training in Anthroposophic Medicine. Setting WHO qualification standards for Anthroposophic Medicine practitioners reflects its relevance as a global medical practice and provides patients with a predictable level of care. “
