Maternal and Child Health and Breastfeeding Support

What is it?

The Maternal and Child Health Services at The Melbourne Therapy Centre provide a nurturing and holistic environment, supporting the young child's health and development from birth until 4 years of age. Space is provided for the whole family to explore their experiences, concerns, and to discuss evidence-based approaches for the care of infants and young children.

Who can it help?

  • Antenatal education (topics include birth, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, newborn sleep and settling)

  • Maternal physical and emotional health, including assessment and strategies for postnatal depletion
