Tess is a Clinical Psychologist who brings warmth, curiosity, and compassion to her therapeutic work. She is passionate about supporting individuals through complex emotional experiences, life transitions and relational challenges. She has a keen interest in working with trauma and exploring the ways in which it can alter a person’s sense of self and view of the world. Tess offers a person-centred and collaborative approach to therapy and draws primarily on evidence-based trauma-informed therapeutic modalities including Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Schema Therapy and Somatic techniques. She also incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches into her work.
